Well, we missed having our families here for Thanksgiving this year, but we had a wonderful day here at Camp Foster. The kids got to feed the horses, which was really fun, and then we settled into the Leadership Lodge for the day so we could cook and relax. Libby loved the big couch, and discovered the joys of stuffing. Lexi made cranberry garlad to feed the birds, and she made dessert all by herself. We really enjoyed relaxing and spending time together. We hope you all had a great holiday, and we'd love to hear what everyone did!

We went to the Fall Festival at Lexi's school, where they had trick or treating around the building, a haunted hallway, and a bake sale. Lexi was happy to hang out with one of her friends from school, and Libby loved being talked to by everyone we met because she was so adorable. We were glad the girls liked their costumes as I am pretty sure they were the only home made ones we saw.
Then on Halloween night we went trick or treating in town. Of course we live in the middle of nowhere, so we had to choose a neighborhood to travel to. Apparently we picked the right one. The neighborhood was packed! We ran into some kids we knew and Lexi had a blast running from house to house. She was always excited when the people in the houses knew she was little red riding hood.

Sports update- and more
As the leaves fall and the temperature drops,...whatever-Football is here! It's halfway through the season and, as predicted, certain teams continue to surprise and disappoint. What the eff, with the Vikes? They've had all the chances in the world to win, and they keep finding ways to lose. Brady's out, Favre moved, and the Lions are still the worst team in history. What's going on with the Bengals and Chargers? Call it the curse of Ocho Cinco. And you know I hate to see the Cowboys struggling. Poor T.O. :( I like the fact that no team looks like they're a lock for the Superbowl. I'll hold off on my picks for right now, but I want to know who ya got?
On to other sports. The redeem team took care of business in China. It was good to see that squad on the court. Watch out for D-Wade this year. The NBA starts this week, and yes, I'm actually excited about it! Some big moves in the off season should make it another competitive season. My preseason picks for the championship are right back where we left off last year: Celtics/Lakers. I know it's early, and the picks are subject to change, but on paper I still think they've got what it takes to get back to the title game.
And now, a first from T-Wag.com. I am making a political statement. Well, sort of. I know there are a lot of different opinions on the candidates, and I don't care to hear them from you. Some are bad, the rest, are mine. Just kidding! Just get out there and vote folks!
So to sum up, football: good, basketball: thumbs up, presidential election: be there.
All for now.

The Power of a T-WAG.COM T-Shirt
Big Mike here dropping a quick post here on T-Wag.com. My T-WAG.COM t-shirt helped power me to a personal record 1hr 48min 50secs in the City of Roses Half Marathon. I expect the t-shirt to help me in Memphis in December when I run the St. Judes full marathon. If you didn't already know the T-WAG.COM t-shirt imparts power to the wearer of shirt. Email Tony some pictures of yourself doing something awesome in your T-WAG.COM t-shirt.

The Better Half
Since Tony can't seem to find the time to update his own blog, I have decided to do it for him. We are approaching the end of our first year in Iowa, and this year has brought many changes! So here is the low-down on each one of us:
Libby hit the scene in February, and is growing fast. I can't believe she is already sitting up, eating "real" food, and almost crawling! (Still no teeth, of course!)
Lexi started school this year at Okoboji Elementary school. She is loving Pre-K and giving her teacher a run for her money. She loves playing with Libby and trying to teach her new things. Other current favorites include her foot named "Hoopy," playing "punch frisbee," and listening to music while jumping on her bed.
I am keeping busy with three jobs, and hanging out with the girls during the day. I also got accepted into the "Biggest Loser" competition at the YMCA here in town. So, beginning yesterday, I now get up at 5:00 every day to go to the gym with my team. I'll keep you all posted!
As for Tony, we haven't really seen him since May. We hear he is doing well, and due to return home sometime at the end of October.
